Job Description
·Summary

Assist FOH staff to maintain service efficiency and ensure guest satisfaction. Maintain cleanliness and restock front of house area. Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses, clear tables after guests leave and reset vacated tables to company standards.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
-
Receives assigned service area from host/hostess at start of shift
-
Communicate with host/hostess and floor manager to maintain service efficiency and ensure guest satisfaction.

Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of front of house including all tables, chairs, floors, windows and restrooms.
-
Restock dining room with silver, chine, glassware, utensils, condiments and linens and maintain adequate supplies in the workstations when the dining room is open.

Greet guests as they are seated in assigned area.

Serve water or bread and provide refills as required.

Remove dirty dishes and utensils from tables between courses and clear tables after guests leave.

Return dirty dishes, silverware, glassware and utensils to dishwashing area.

Reset vacated tables to company standards.
-
May assist wait staff in serving tables during rush periods.

Clear kitchen of FOH items at the end of each shift.

Serve professionally with left hand from guest’s left side. Clear from guest’s right side.

Any other duties at the discretion of the owner.
Requirements

Skills Needed
-
The ability to communicate and understand the English language.
-
Some related foodservice experience in a restaurant setting is required.
-
Physically able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours in length, lifting, bending and stooping.

Must have ability to frequently lift and carry plates, bus tubs, trays and other objects weighing 35 pounds or more.
