Job Description
·Summary

Produce and maintain reservation systems to company standards. Receive and process private party inquiries. Perform some general office and personnel duties. Additionally perform the duties of a host/hostess. Perform receptionist type duties such as answering calls and processing messages. Assist other company personnel as needed.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Answer telephones and takes reservations in accordance with company standards.

Receive and respond to large party and private dining inquiries. Processes contracts, deposits, menu selection and special requests.

Oversees training of new host/hostess personnel.

Order, inventory and stock all business supplies for office.

Facilitate the processing of all Change of Status forms and time off request coordinating with appropriate department managers to submit to acting Personnel Manager.

May see to special projects or tasks as requested by the General Managers or Senior Executive staff of the company.

Ability to communicate and understand the English language and have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel and restaurant POS software.

General understanding of basic office functions.

Physical ability to sit at a desk for prolonged periods of time and utilize computer screen and keyboard for prolonged periods of time.

Physical ability to frequently lift and carry objects weighing 35 pounds or more.

Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to eight hours in length and to lift, bend and stoop.
